Ranunculus on the Sill

Ten ranunculus in whatever mixed colors came off the farm that week — sometimes heavier on the burgundies, sometimes the yellows, we don’t sort for a specific palette. This is the bouquet that sits on our own studio windowsill most weeks, which is where the photo was taken.

Ranunculus are only really good from February through May here — outside that window we simply don’t offer this bouquet rather than bring in imported stems to fake the season.
