The Garden

The Garden

Thistle & Bloom grows about a third of what we sell in a half-acre cutting garden directly behind the studio — dahlias, ranunculus, sweet peas, cosmos and a long run of foliage and filler that never makes it to the front of a bouquet but holds the whole thing together.

What we can’t grow ourselves — peonies mostly, and anything genuinely out of our climate — we buy directly from three small flower farms within a two-hour drive. We do not buy from large import wholesalers, and nothing we sell has traveled by air freight.

The garden dictates the shop, not the other way around. If a flower isn’t in season here, we don’t fake it with something flown in — we simply don’t offer it until it comes back around.

Thistle & Bloom is a fictional studio built to demonstrate this WordPress theme. No bouquet shown on this site is for sale and no order can actually be placed.
